Hi LOLdog readers!

Don’t worry, we’re not going to stop posting LOLdog pictures We just wanted to pause for a moment to take advantage of an opportunity to raise money for our favorite charity. Problogger.net is having contests galore for its birthday and freemoneyfinance.com has generously donated a gift of $1000 to be given away. One lucky blogger will win this money to be donated in their name to their charity of choice.

We’ve had a donation button for The American Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (ASPCA) on www.laughoutlouddogs.com since its inception in July 2007. But due to the fact (I think) that it’s on our footer (bottom of the page) we haven’t had any donations. Plus, we’ve been unable to augment the web banner to make it fit on one of our side bars. So, this is our chance to spotlight our favorite charity, the ASPCA. Hopefully we’ll raise some money for the animals out there that are being treated inhumanely while in the process.

The ASPCA has been fighting for over 140 years to see that no animal lives in fear or pain. This organization is heavily involved in working to pass humane laws. They provide programs that teach humane education as well as online advice for pet care, animal poison control, disaster preparedness and animal behavior. They rescue abused animals almost daily and share resources with shelters all over the USA. If you have buck or two click below and help stop the cruelty. If not, it’s okay, just cross your fingers and hope we win the $1000 bucks to donate!
